FINALLY!!! ARTISTIC DIFFRENCES...pics for "tribal fete" episode

Can not believe we are staying on schedule! But this evening we had major...MAJOR artisitic diffrences ( that sounds polite) as you probbly see in the pictures my friends and I are all of diffrent cultural backgrounds but it has never come into play in a major way until we introduced this genere of electronical called drum and bass/ tribal.

Admittedly, I think tribal electronical is a very, extremly sexual form of music. Even though truthfully I rarely listen to it myself. (too much bangin) its great for backsground music when your having sex.

The good thing aout working amongst friends their is no disrespect but.....we came close. these were the pictures offered me to make the pod cast cover.

I personally don't like to see women debased and the originally title of the show was to be called "Welcome To Our Jungle" and the cover was to have either a black man dressed like Tarzan, a white woman dressed like jane"

I balked! I mean I balked and thus it took till 4am with everyone due at work at 10:00 am tomorrow to get it posted!

these were the rejects:

They were just too much lol so I totally like the cover I made. Most of the audience is comprised of other DJ's there are a few gay and lesbian pod cast but none use really suggestive pictures. They are pretty tasteful. Our group is from age 25-44 so that's a lot of different minds lol. Plus we have an inspirational show on sundays those people are like old cause my nana use to host that show and I was like the subscribers don't wanna see that.

well I won. i don't think its selling out when you present a decent packaging. I really don't. As usual our pod cast is posted on my front page and at our site http://trueurbanehavoc.podOmatic.com

My friend (Random sunday morning thoughts)

My best friend to be around is named Farah. She is 30 years old. I am older than her by 4 years so she calls me "Big Brother"

She was born in Haiti and is really very sweet and beautiful. Really. We are like two kids. We sing and joke and often talk of very serious things. Her only problem is she doesnt like to play Monopoly.

She has three young children. But she is a good mother. She spends time teaching them manners and keeping them clean. They are boys so that is very hard.

Her husband is one of my best str8 friends. We are like a family. A dysfuntional family..... but a family just the same.

Sometimes, I am afraid to enjoy close friends for I worry when the friendship ends it will be painful. But realistically you just have to go on and enjoy the moment.

Even tho I am male my closest friends are female and we have really good boundaries that I have trouble having with my male friends that are gay.

My gay friends always want to talk about really silly shit. Like tween age boys. I have a friend named Lawrence whenever he gets laid which thank Jesus isnt often he calls and I have to stop him from giving me a blow by blow description. To me, sex is cool but its nasty when you have to imagine or visulize your friend doing it. I like my friends to have SOME mystery. At least in that department.

He says "ah you are so old fashion but I came from one of those homes where they didnt talk much about sex. I think my father taught me the birds and the bees crap at twelve from (OMG) a book called "Almost twelve" so I basically figured stuff out on my own . God bless him. Lawrences mother was like an alcoholic so their house was party central but otherwise we are cool friends.

I had a female friend that was the same but she was like a slut anyway. So I couldnt say to much. I think she lied sometimes too. She wasnt the easiest person to look at. But, that doesnt matter when it comes to sex. She was gay for like a year. LOL Hell what advice could I give her? I had no idea what they do and wasnt very interested anyway. She and I havent seen each other in awhile ( god is good)

I dated a really homely dude once named Glen. he looked like E.T. well not really but they use to call him E.T. I thought he was kinda cute. He had skin the color of a pale walnut and really silky wavy hair but he had a small face thats how he got the name E.T. I really liked him. One time me and my mother went to the publix ( I was living in Fla) and he screwed my neighbor and left the door unlocked and someone stole our TV. I remember I didnt care that he screwed somone I was pissed that our brand new TV got stolen in the process. That is so funny to me when I think back. His mother was an Evangelist. One of them protestants I guess. She was always talking about the worms are gonna consume us. That ole bitch. I cussed her out at Churchs fried chicken. She made me mad. She was so holy she was to holy for earth and to damn evil for heaven.

If you were an only child you understand we have issues. I serve no purpose are in the sharing department. I will go out and buy you your own rather than share mine. LOL.

I wish I could say I am working on that but no need lying.

Oh well. That is my random thoughts for this morning.

I HEAR MUSIC IN OUR HOME

Tonight I was in one of the moods where I like to play the keyboards. Im not the greatist at all by any means But I play three songs really well and it was very good for stress. If I get the nerve I will post it in my music section but dont laugh LOL the timing is a little messed up in the middle to me.

When we are at home sometimes we do the music thing because sometimes after a while we run out of thing to talk of and speak about. So I have a keyboard and I pulls it out and plays.

I wish I could sing but I cant really I have a young voice to speak but when I sing it sounds just really old and scares me. But it does not stop me a few drinks and hell I feel like im turning it out LOL

I like music because when I make my own I go somewhere very deep inside myself. I much wish that I could play my sight but I cant. I can recognize THE NOTES but I can not relate putting the notes to the music!!!!

I took piano and violin most of the years of primary education andc being I learned to "play by ear" I couldnt learn to play by sight which is not much good because if you never hear the song you cant play it if someone brings the sheet music.

But I am now in my 30s and I realize that I will not be a musician it is my private passion.

God bless the cild is one of my favorite songs. I hope very that you enjoy this interpretation.

Missing A Friend

I have a good friend that we fell out. Over a series of things but the last was the straw that broke the camels back.

We went to school together, did a lot of things together. Then in the last year he just changed so much. Getting in trouble hanging out places where I just arent into. Then we had a really big fall out. Made up I even let him stay here while he got his self together but we still fell out again.

However, everyday I think about him. I dont miss him but I miss the person he was and the friendship we once had. Its gone I know but maybe we can grieve a friendship death?

So Gabe ask me today am I getting demetia? I was like WTF??!! he says, "Whats my last name?" I said it then he says "look at the cell phone and I keep using my best friends last name as his last name and on the podcasts etc.

So he says, Well u two were like brothers. But sometimes life takes u diffrent places. U will be kool.

I agree

but

Damn it hurts to lose a friend.

WTF!!! TOTALLY USELESS!!! (HUMOUR)

"TOO DAMN CLOSE" FROM THE LORD HAVE MERCY FILES

THIS WAS THE OBAMA IVE BEEN WAITING FOR!

I MEAN FACE IT HEALTH CARE IS A TOUGH ISSUE AND EVERYBODY ( ESPECIALLY PEOPLE WHO CANT AFFORD IT) IS GOING TO NIT PICK BUT IMAGINE IF HE FINALLY GETS THIS IN PLACE? IT WILL MAKE OBAMA AS LEGENDARY AS ROOSEVELT! (WHO TO ME IS THE LAST PRESIDENT TO REALLY DESAL WITH A SUPER TOUGH AMERICAN PROBLEM...POVERTY, SOCIAL SECURITY, AND GETTING AMERICA OUT OF THE GREAT DEPRESSION) MY VIEW ANYWAY!

This Was the Obama We've Been Waiting for

By Adele M. Stan, AlterNet. Posted September 10, 2009.

At a joint session of Congress that rang like town halls, Obama comes out swinging for progressive ideals; yet his stance on the public option still is unclear.

In a speech before a joint session of Congress on the topic of health care reform, President Barack Obama Wednesday night seemed ready to rumble.

It was the Obama so many have been waiting for in this debate, one that has been more food fight than discourse during the dog days of August.

"Instead of honest debate," the president said, "we have seen scare tactics ... and out of this blizzard of charges and countercharges, confusion has reigned. Well, the time for bickering is over. The time for games has passed. Now is the season for action."

The president's apparent resolve and authoritative style were back as he took on naysayers and liars about his plan to reform the health care system, yet he also put forward ideas he credited to his opponents, both Republican and Democrat, including "some of my opponents in both the primary and general election."

Obama faced a hall more raucous than Americans are accustomed to seeing at presidential events, especially joint sessions of Congress.

At times it seemed as if the tactics of disruption and distortion displayed in town hall meetings across America last month had infected the chamber, in spite of the decorous ceremony of the joint session.

The president was at times booed and jeered, and some Republicans held up some sort of document as an apparent attempt at protest. At one point, as the president sought to assure the American people that there were no provisions in his plan -- or any of the bills currently before Congress -- to provide government-sponsore d health care to illegal immigrants, Rep. Joe Wilson, R-S.C., shouted, "You lie!"

The president remained unruffled, sternly telling his opponents, later in the speech, "If you misrepresent what's in the plan, we will call you out."

In the speech itself, Obama "called out" several Republican claims, which he called bogus, and he directly confronted the "death-panel" fantasy advanced by former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin and a number of other Republicans.

"Such a charge would be laughable if it weren't so cynical and irresponsible. It is a lie, plain and simple," Obama said.

Liberals and progressives found much to like in the president's address, most notably his inspiring call to the morality of health care reform, and his defense of liberal principles of governance. But on the most contentious issue within his own party -- a public health-insurance plan -- the president gave progressives half a loaf.

While expressing his support for a self-financed public option that would pay for itself via the premiums it collects, he indicated that it was not the end-all and be-all of health insurance reform. In other words, he will not go to the mat for it. He said:

It's worth noting that a strong majority of Americans still favor a public insurance option of the sort I've proposed tonight. But its impact shouldn't be exaggerated -- by the left, the right or the media. It is only one part of my plan and should not be used as a handy excuse for the usual Washington ideological battles.
To my progressive friends, I would remind you that for decades, the driving idea behind reform has been to end insurance-company abuses and make coverage affordable for those without it. The public option is only a means to that end -- and we should remain open to other ideas that accomplish our ultimate goal.
And to my Republican friends, I say that rather than making wild claims about a government takeover of health care, we should work together to address any legitimate concerns you may have.

That said, there's a chance that, as a result of this speech, he may avoid the mat and still get the public option. For at no time before has anyone offered so succinct and reassuring description of what that would look like and, for that, he just may generate the level of public support he needs for such a plan to get it passed:

Despite all this, the insurance companies and their allies don't like this idea. They argue that these private companies can't fairly compete with the government. And they'd be right if taxpayers were subsidizing this public insurance option. But they won't be.
I have insisted that like any private insurance company, the public insurance option would have to be self-sufficient and rely on the premiums it collects. But by avoiding some of the overhead that gets eaten up at private companies by profits, excessive administrative costs and executive salaries, it could provide a good deal for consumers. It would also keep pressure on private insurers to keep their policies affordable and treat their customers better, the same way public colleges and universities provide additional choice and competition to students without, in any way, inhibiting a vibrant system of private colleges and universities

While holding a firm line on what he would not tolerate -- distortions, "the status quo," "kicking the can down the road," Obama also threw a little something to everybody, adopting ideas from friend and foe alike.

From former primary opponent Hillary Rodham Clinton (who is now secretary of state), the president took the idea of a mandate, a requirement that everyone buy health insurance. (Current proposals provide subsidies for those on the low end of the income scale.)

Because he sees his plan taking four years to implement, he appropriated Arizona GOP Sen. John McCain's idea, floated during the presidential campaign, of providing publicly financed catastrophic- care insurance to those who are frozen out of the current system by pre-existing conditions.

From the Bush administration, he's gleaning the idea of demonstration projects for malpractice reform, on which he said he is authorizing Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius to move forward "immediately."

The president sought to reassure senior citizens that their Medicare coverage would be protected, even as the Medicare system is reformed with an eye toward reducing costs through best practices and and waste reduction. And he promised that his plan would not add "one dime to the deficit."

Obama explained his plan's inclusion of health care exchanges, where the uninsured would band togther in regionally based groups to bargain for insurance rates comparable to those offered through employers. He reiterated the promise that his health-insurance reform would bar the exclusion of people from insurance plans for their "pre-existing conditions" and would outlaw the dropping of premium-payers from insurance plans simply because they got sick.

That was the workaday part of the speech. But where it really took off was when he called us to the better angels of our nature, making the moral case for health care reform with a little help, from beyond the grave, of the late Sen. Ted Kennedy, whose widow, Vicki, sat next to first lady Michelle Obama. Kennedy's children were also in the chamber.

Obama read from a letter he received from Kennedy, D-Mass., just days ago, which Kennedy had arranged to have delivered to the president upon the senator's death. Kennedy had written the letter, Obama said, when the senator learned his brain cancer was terminal.

Quoting the letter, Obama said, " 'What we face ... is above all a moral issue; at stake are not just the details of policy, but fundamental principles of social justice and the character of our country.' "

Vice President Joe Biden, on the dais behind the president, wiped a tear from his eye.

From that notion of "the character of our country," Obama's speech took off.

"One of the unique and wonderful things about America has always been our self-reliance, our rugged individualism, our fierce defense of freedom and our healthy skepticism of government. And figuring out the appropriate size and role of government has always been a source of rigorous, and sometimes angry, debate."

Then he bludgeoned some of his fiercest health care critics in the Senate -- where health care reform remains stalled -- with the memory of Kennedy.

Saying that many of Kennedy's critics mistook "his passion for universal health care was nothing more than a passion for big government," Obama declared that those who worked with Kennedy knew better. They knew that what drove Kennedy was "something more."

"His friend, Orrin Hatch, knows that," Obama said. "They worked together to provide children with health insurance."

Hatch, R-Utah, had signed a letter calling plans for a public option, "a federal government takeover of our health care system," a claim Obama handily dismantled in his speech.

"His friend John McCain knows that," Obama continued. "They worked together on a Patient's Bill of Rights."

McCain had lent credence to false claims by his former running mate, Palin, that Democratic health care reform proposals included "death panels" that would determine the expiration date of senior citizens.

"His friend Chuck Grassley knows that," Obama said, hitting the ringer. "They worked together to provide health care to children with disabilities."

Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, has been the foremost obstructionist in attempts to finalize a health care bill in the Senate Finance Committee and spent the summer attending conducting town hall meetings with a copy of Glenn Beck's book under his arm while claiming that Obama sought to "pull the plug on Grandma."

"[W]hen facts and reason are thrown overboard and only timidity passes for wisdom," Obama continued, "and we can no longer even engage in a civil conversation with each other over the things that truly matter -- that at that point we don't merely lose our capacity to solve big challenges, we lose something essential about ourselves."

And here's the kicker: "I still believe we can do great things, and that here and now we will meet history's test. Because that is who we are. That is our calling. That is our character."

He's almost made a believer out of me. Now, about that public option, Mr. President ...

one day long ago (humour)

One day, long, long ago, there lived a woman who did not whine, nag, or bitch.

But it was a long time ago, and it was just that one day.

The End

Hate Crime or not? What do U think?

NEW YORK (CNN) -- Brian Milligan Sr. believes his son's race triggered a brutal attack on the streets of Buffalo, New York.

Brian Milligan Jr. poses with his girlfriend, Nicola Fletcher, before he was attacked last month.

Armed with a chunk of concrete, several assailants beat Brian Milligan Jr. on the back of the head on August 18, leaving a 3-inch gash. They kicked him in the face, breaking his jaw.

Bloodied and bruised, the 18-year-old managed to walk five blocks to his grandmother' s house before being rushed to the hospital.

Milligan's father believes several African-Americans beat his son, who is white, because he is dating an African-American woman. He wants police to treat the beating as a hate crime. He also has criticized what he calls a deafening silence from the community, police and the national media.

"If this was a black guy who was beaten by a group of white guys for dating a white girl, people would be up in arms," he said. "There's a double standard."

Buffalo police believe a group of about 10 to 15 African-American men attacked Milligan late at night, police spokesman Mike DeGeorge said. Police have made no arrests and are still investigating the motive, he said.

Milligan Sr. says he believes the attackers are the same "neighborhood guys" who threatened his son and his African-American girlfriend because of their interracial relationship.

The younger Milligan and his girlfriend, Nicola Fletcher, who is also 18, had recently complained of an increase in insults and threats in east Buffalo, where Fletcher lives and where Milligan was staying with his grandmother, Fletcher said.

"Every time they walk the streets, people stop him and call him 'cracker' and ask her why she's not with a black guy," Milligan Sr. said.

Two days before the attack, Fletcher said she was shot with paintball pellets by the same group of neighborhood aggressors.

"I'm afraid to walk the streets," she said. "Those guys are still out there."

Police "are making good progress in the case," said DeGeorge, the police spokesman. Investigators are still trying to determine if it should be declared a hate crime.

They have asked members of the community to call police if they have any information.

When Milligan was taken to Erie County Medical Center, he was unconscious and suffered blood on the brain and brain swelling as a result of the beating. He will see a neurosurgeon on September 10 to be evaluated, said his father.

He is now recovering at home and remembers nothing about the attack, which has made the police investigation even more difficult.

The story has touched a nerve with several members of Buffalo's African-American community, including a local pastor who leads a predominantly black church in Buffalo.

"At first, it didn't affect me the way that it would have if I heard it was a black teen attacked," said the Rev. Darius Pridgen, who spent years fighting for civil rights for African-Americans.

"But after I saw his father on TV pleading with the community to find the assailants, I decided I had to go after the people who beat this kid."

Pridgen said he felt that the community has turned a collective blind eye to the beating. So he gave a fire-and-brimstone sermon at the True Baptist Church on a Sunday after the attack, appealing to his congregation to help find the culprits.

"He didn't deserve to be beaten this way," Pridgen recalled saying at the service. "If you believe this, put your hands together."

If it was a black teen, Pridgen said, "We would have been protesting with flags and everything else."

Rod Watson also addressed the issue in his column in the Buffalo News. Watson, who is black, pointed out that interracial marriages are nearly 10 times higher than they were in 1960, according to U.S. Census data, but still those couples have a tough time being accepted by society.

"If blacks in Buffalo in 2009 are acting like whites in Selma in 1959, this society has big problems, despite electing a president who is himself the product of an interracial union," Watson said.

Judy Milligan, a community activist and Brian Milligan Jr.'s great-aunt, said she has been overwhelmed with support from her friends, both black and white.

Mary Woods, a member of Buffalo's African-American community, reached out to Milligan to offer her support.

"I don't care what color you are, when something like this happens, justice must be served," Woods said. "There had to be someone who saw something, and they should come forward."

Milligan Sr. has criticized the Buffalo Police Department for spending too much time "trying to prove this crime wasn't a hate crime instead of performing a solid investigation. "

But DeGeorge said the department is pursuing the attackers with the same vigor as it would any crime.

"People tend to want crimes solved yesterday," DeGeorge said. "We are performing a thorough investigation and that takes time."

GOOD AND TIRED

Being tired from doing something feels a whole lot better than being tired of doing nothing. If you're going to be tired at the end of each day, then make it really count for something.

If you're weary, perhaps it's not because you're doing too much. Perhaps it's because you're not at all invested in what you're doing.

A difficult challenge that's aligned with your purpose will generate far more energy in you than an easy task that has no real meaning for you. You can accomplish much more when what you're accomplishing is what you care about.

When your body is tired, a good night's sleep will revive you. When you're spirit is weary, you'll need something more.

You have a unique voice and a unique purpose that are longing to be expressed. Start living that expression and you'll find an endless source of energy flowing through your life.

Get yourself good and tired with focused, disciplined work on a purpose that connects with who you truly are. And you'll find that each day you have even more energy than the day before.

Memory boards (Lukasa) were used by Mbudye members as a framework for remembering history and ancient folklore. Beads, Shells, and engravings represent specific events and people related to the Luba people. Each color can represent a king's name or reign. Their placement on the lukasa stands for the king's power over his land. Beads may stnad for individuals, and a large bead surrounded by smaller beads may represent a king and his entourage. The shape itself may represent the royal tortoise with its round head and curving back. The straight lines and even pattern on this memory board may represent roads or a map of residences.

BACK 2 SCHOOL BACK 2 LIFE (new pod-cast)

I always love putting together a new pod-cast with my friends and we are so staying on schedule! as i blog this I was totally unaware until my friend Dandre told me that 33% of Ambercrombie & Fitch's business comes from Asian Americans but their are NO asian models!

OK if your African American you are like wow, are they the new minority.Personally I shopped at Ambercrombie & Fitch during my last year of high school and junior year at college since I was in NC and their was no Macy's and I was into the whole rebellious skateboard mentality. We added a great mini documentary to this pod-cast from the University of Berkley and a former Ambercrombie & Fitch employee. Also we have clips from Kimora lee Simmons baby Phat showcase for 2009. Frankly, I would not be caught in some of the outfits and some are blatant rip offs in my opinion of off The Rack Mid level Ambercrombie & Fitch 9 for you walmart guys Ambercrombie is ONLY a mid level shopping experience and a Gap subsidiary at that!

My favorite for the big guys is Sean John most of my friends that are like 38 and above swear by his clothes they really look good on big size frames. I only own one pair of Sean Jean jeans and they don't seem to do well on a 29 inch waist but look great on some of my bigger brothers.

Enjoy this pod-cast. I enjoyed the process in making it

THE WORLD IS YOURS

I SO WISHED i BELIEVED HALF THE WORDS TO THE RAP SONGS THAT WERE AT ONE TIME A MOTTO FOR MY LIFE...

Whose world is this?
[Nas] The world is yours, the world is yours
[PR] It's mine, it's mine, it's mine
Whose world is this?
"It's yours!"
It's mine, it's mine, it's mine
Whose world is this?
[Nas] The world is yours, the world is yours
[PR] It's mine, it's mine, it's mine
Whose world is this?

I sip the Dom P, watchin Gandhi til I'm charged
Then writin in my book of rhymes, all the words pass the margin
To hold the mic I'm throbbin, mechanical movement
Understandable smooth shit that murderers move wit
The thief's theme, play me at night, they won't act right
The fiend of hip-hop has got me stuck like a crack pipe
The mind activation, react like I'm facin time like
'Pappy' Mason with pens I'm embracin
Wipe the sweat off my dome, spit the phlegm on the streets
Suede Timb's on my feets, makes my cypher, complete
Whether crusin in a six-cab, or Montero Jeep
I can't call it, the beats make me fallin asleep
I keep fallin, but never fallin six feet deep
I'm out for presidents to represent me (Say what?)
I'm out for presidents to represent me (Say what?)
I'm out for dead presidents to represent me

[Chorus: Nas, Pete Rock]

[PR] Whose world is this?
[Nas] The world is yours, the world is yours
[PR] It's mine, it's mine, it's mine
[PR] Whose world is this?
[Nas] The world is yours, the world is yours
[PR] It's mine, it's mine, it's mine
Whose world is this?
"It's yours!"
It's mine, it's mine, it's mine
Whose world is this?
[Nas] The world is yours, the world is yours
[PR] It's mine, it's mine, it's mine
Whose world is this?

To my man Ill Will, God bless your life
"It's yours!"
To my peoples throughout Queens, God bless your life
I trip we box up crazy bitches aimin guns in all my baby pictures
Beef with housin police, release scriptures that's maybe Hitler's
Yet I'm the mild, money gettin style, rollin foul
The versatile, honey stickin wild, golden child
Dwellin in the Rotten Apple, you get tackled
Or caught by the devil's lasso, shit is a hassle
There's no days, for broke days, we sell it, smoke pays
While all the old folks pray, to Je-sus' soakin they sins in trays
of holy water, odds against Nas are slaughter
Thinkin a word best describin my life, to name my daughter
My strength, my son, the star, will be my resurrection
Born in correction all the wrong shit I did, he'll lead a right direction
How ya livin large, a broker charge, cards are mediocre
You flippin coke or playin spit spades in strip poker

"It's yours!"

[Chorus: Nas, Pete Rock]

[PR] It's mine, it's mine, it's mine
[PR] Whose world is this?
[Nas] The world is yours, the world is yours
[PR] It's mine, it's mine, it's mine
Whose world is this?
"It's yours!"
It's mine, it's mine, it's mine
Whose world is this?
[Nas] Yo, the world is yours, the world is yours
[PR] It's mine, it's mine, it's mine
Whose world is this?
"It's yours!"
[PR] Break it down

[Pete Rock cuts and scratches "It's yours!"]

I'm the young city bandit, hold myself down singlehanded
For murder raps, I kick my thoughts alone, get remanded
Born alone, die alone, no crew to keep my crown or throne
I'm deep by sound alone, caved inside in a thousand miles from home
I need a new nigga, for this black cloud to follow
Cause while it's over me it's too dark to see tomorrow
Trying to maintain, I flip, fill the clip to the tip
Picturin my peeps, now the income make my heartbeat skip
And I'm amped up, they locked the champ up, even my brain's in handcuffs
Headed for Indiana stabbin women like the Phantom
The crew is lampin big Willie style
Check the chip toothed smile, plus I profile wild
Stash through the flock wools, burnin dollars to light my stove
Walk the blocks wit a bop, checkin Danes plus the games
people play, bust the problems of the world today

"It's yours!"

[Chorus: Nas, Pete Rock]

[PR] It's mine, it's mine, it's mine
[PR] Whose world is this?
[Nas] The world is yours, the world is yours
[PR] It's mine, it's mine, it's mine
Whose world is this?
"It's yours!"
It's mine, it's mine, it's mine
Whose world is this?
[Nas] Yeah... the world is yours, the world is yours
[PR] It's mine, it's mine, it's mine
Whose world is this?
"It's yours!"
Break it down

Yea aight?
To everybody in Queens, the foundation
"It's yours!"
The world is yours
To everybody uptown, yo, the world is yours
"It's yours!"
The world is yours
To everybody in Brooklyn
Y'all know the world is yours
"It's yours!"
The world is yours
Everbody in Mount Vernon, the world is yours
"It's yours!"
Long Island, the world is yours
"It's yours!"
Staten Island, yea the world is yours
"It's yours!"
South Bronx, the world is yours
"It's yours!"
Aight

[Pete Rock keeps cuttin and scratchin "It's yours!" to fade]
